This Modern Love is a bespoke bridal wear label with a signature style of romantic, elegant and beautifully simple designs.

The gowns are loved by brides who are planning relaxed, bohemian inspired outdoors weddings; laid back brides who love the outdoors and want to wear a bespoke gown that reflects their personality, but that they can feel comfortable in.

Each dress is designed and handmade to order in Anna's seafront studio, using only the finest materials including  guipiere and corded lace, crepe de chine, duchess satin and tulle.

Featured in VOGUE Magazine's Wedding Wishlist, Named as 'The One to Watch' by Perfect Wedding Magazine and a Finalist at the 2016 UK Wedding Awards for Best Bridesmaid Collection, This Modern Love was created by British designer and dressmaker Anna Bosworth, winner of the Warehouse and Elle Magazine Talent Spot 2013 and regional winner of the 2018, 2019 and 2020 Wedding Industry Awards for Best Bridal Designer and Dressmaker.

Background

This Modern Love began in 2013 after Anna studied fashion design and costume design courses at Central Saint Martins and womenswear pattern cutting and professional sewing techniques with the London College of Fashion. After interning with two independent London based fashion labels Anna worked at London Fashion Week and was then mentored by The Prince's Trust Youth Enterprise Programme. Anna also has a passion for costume design and has worked as a costume assistant at Sadler’s Wells, the Tricycle Theatre and The Royal Opera House.
